REFINISHING

Refinishing is a laborious procedure of removing all of the existing finish to get to the bare wood and creating a new color application to fit your lifestyle. After all repairs and finish removal, we invite you in to see your piece in its natural state. We expose your furniture to its natural color and discuss a new color application.

     Devontry uses dyes boiled in water for base colors, pigments ground in oils for glazes, and lacquers for top coats. All pieces are hand rubbed down with an English paste wax as a dressing.
